Are you declaring EMS obsolete or has Microsoft officially deprecated
it's use? That's not tongue in cheek, I'd really like to know because
I considered it obsolete three years ago when I stopped programming
for DOS.

When the operating system philosophy is to allow two incompatible
methods of accessing memory to battle for supremacy, only the users of
that operating system lose.
