I compiled cmu's snmp package on a BSDI system which compiled with lots of
warnings. The query tools like snmpwalk work fine when I query other systems
such as a Linux system, but get No response when I try querying the BSDI
machine.

widow# /usr/bin/snmpwalk -v 1 widow public
No Response from widow
widow#

Any ideas or suggestions on what the problem might be? Does anyone
know if there is a pre-compiled binary kit of the cmu snmpd daemon for BSDI?

Thanks,
	Steve
