I would like to know if any progress has been made on
getting MacBSD working on the IIsi. I understand that
it can be made to work through a serial port (This
means you need some kind of terminal or another mac
to hook up to the port right? ) but has anyone
gotten it to work without this ? I.e using the
mac itself as the terminal, as I assume it works
on the other machines? Perhaps I am just seriously
confused..
Oh, if it can only be made to work on the serial port
is it possible to boot and automatically dial up your
slip provider, so you can talk to it over the internet from
another machine at least? (How do you edit the config
files to do this though? )
Well, I certainly would appreciate any help on the
matter, but this is not an urgent thing :)
