Hi, I just installed FreeBSD last night and actually got it working after
finding out I had a bad do_cksum.sh and extract.sh with my bindist files.
Anyways, I was wondering how to set it up to dial my internet access
provider and initiate a SLIP connection (or a PPP connection, preferably
SLIP for now because I've been using that with OS/2 and windows). I've
only installed bindist and manpages, so if I need any other packages,
please tell me which ones and I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me
what files I need to change and how to initiate the connection. I looked
at slip.FAQ on ftp.cdrom.com/pub/freebsd, but it didn't seem to work.
Thanks in advance.

BTW-If you could reply by email it woudl be appreciated because my news
