Yes, some people have suggested it is a hardware problem. And it might very well be. But I haven't a clue as to how to find out if t=
his is so. I have checked the hardware inside out, pulling things apart and putting them in one at a time. Also my DOS partition run=
s without any problems like that. Maybe instead of a hardware problem, per se, is it possible that it is a hardware incompatibility =
with Linux? I don't know. It is very frustrating.
