Having just installed FreeBSD 2.0.5, I thought that I would
check my installation before conecting to my ISP via PPP.

I can 'ping localhost' successfully but any attempt to
'ping beckley' or 'ping beckley.demon.co.uk' gets no
reply.

Any idea what I am doing wrong ????

netstat -r gives ...
Routing tables

beckley localhost UGHS 0 15 lo0

and ifconfig -a gives
