Summary: Can a Teac CDU55A be used under FreeBSD?

Can you use the Teac CDU55A 4x CD-ROM under FreeBSD?  It's a Panasonic-interface
drive, but the matcd0 controller does not work.  Is this a case of using a
SB AWE 32 sound card as the controller?  Any thoughts on this?
