I disagree heavily on this, The NetBSD developers are very friendly,
I was not very clueful in the NetBSD installing and administering department
about 6 months ago, and I got stuck many times, cgd, pk, jtc, mycroft
and countless others where very helpful. I use NetBSD at home as it
is teaching me many things, and I am giving back now to NetBSD by doing
some documentation and web server work, it's not alot but I feel damn better
for doing it.

If you use NetBSD-Current and don't read the current-users mailing list
then you are asking for trouble, the team warn people that current may break
and that important changes are announced in current-users.

If anyone doesn't follow current-users and expects everything to work
on current without doing so then they have no one to blame but themselves.

My employer uses NetBSD extensively, and the reason is that NetBSD is a
damn good, high quality product. NetBSD's marketing is done via word
of mouth, NetBSD's only marketing is quality of the final product itself.

Neil
