I have a logitech busmouse ( set at irq 5), FreeBSD 2.0.5.

I suspect that there may be an interrupt conflict  between the SB16 
and the Busmouse. The SB16 might? be set to irq5 as well.

 I have found that the SB16 will work on irq7 (normally the 
printer lpt1 irq ).. Just a hint ....
