Hi

I've recently installed FreeBSD 2.0.5 in my system. Everything seems to work
ok, except for X-Window, which doesn't work at all.

I'm using the XF86_W32 accelerated server from the XFree86 3.1.2 FreeBSD 2.0.5
release.
At the initialization, after startx, the screen blanks after the mode switch
and my monitor (a Sony Multiscan 15sf) enters Green power saving mode.
It never comes up again until I reboot the system (Ctrl-Alt-Del)

It also creates a core file XF86_W32.core which i've analysed using gdb and
came up with this:

Signal 11 - Segmentation Fault
#0 0x2e9d in ET4000W32SaveScreen ( )

These are the startup messages (retrieved using startx >& x.log)

I'm using a Tseng Labs ET4000/W32p PCI graphics card with 2048K RAM.
RamDAC is a SC15021CV, Clock chip is a Chrontel CH 9294E-N

I haven't tried the standard X86_SVGA server yet (i haven't got the CD-ROM, i'm
FTPing the system on a very slow link). However i would obviously prefer the
accelerated server.

Can anyone give me a help with this, please?

Thanks

Cheers,
Gabriel
