He's already locked himself up, semi-permanently.  Of course, most of us
don't consider Aspen CO much of a prison.  ;^)  Or creating the new
object-orientied operating system (OOOS?) that's going to save all of us
budding OS hackers from legions of idiot users and application programmers
for generations to come very close to "hard labor."

Use :q instead of :x.  Or simply use ZZ from visual mode.
