I have a FBSD machine running pppd as a dialup server
which I have working fine but when I hangup the phone or
the line drops the ser (nor the client for that matter)
stops the pppd program from running and to get it to work
again I have to telnet in and kill the process manualy....

is there a way to fix this...??

Pleasy Help if you can and thank you very much in
advance..:)

Below are some of the settings I have...

#This is what I have for /etc/ttys under the modems tty...

ttyd1 "/usr/libexec/getty std.115200" cons25 on secure

#This is /etc/ppp/options

disconnect /etc/ppp/kill.ppp
proxyarp
modem
crtscts
netmask 255.255.255.0

:) again thanks...
