It didn't take too much work to get a clean compile, but it gets a segmentation violation when I rdist TO the bsdi 2.0 machine. It doesn't core dump when I rdist to the bsdi 2.0 machine AND the dirs/files being rdist'd don't already exist. To go any further, I would have to pull out gdb and also start understanding all of the rdistd debugging info, not a trivial task! Has anyone ported rdist to bsdi 2.0 yet or had better luck doing it? FYI The rdist that comes with bsdi 2.0 is the old version... thanks for any info, edgar nielsen
