	In the 10Mb range I'm pretty satisfied with SMC
	EtherPower ( 2.0.5 supports it perfectly) PCI card.

	On quite heavily used net it shows steady transfer rate
	of 800-900K/sec.
	3Com shows only 200-250 K ( ISA adapters).
