I've been adding some IP aliases to my machine (BSDI 2.0) and when I get to
number 6, I get the following error message:

    marlin# ifconfig ef0 inet 204.212.248.83 alias
ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Can't assign requested address

This happens for any 204.212.248.* number (yes, the other aliases are in
204.212.248.* as well), so 83 is not the problem.

Anyone seen this before and have a solution?
