... nice - but i think me means that for instance linux (i think FreeBSD too
(?)) uses HALT as idle task - and thus keeps the temperature of the cpu under
normal single-user conditions lower than for instance dos or windows -
example: (from c't a german computer magazine - it was'nt in the april issue
:-) p90 - dos/windows ~45 degree - linux/os2 ~30 degree (FreeBSD wasn't
mentioned but i think it does the same as linux
