I've installed FreeBSD 2.0.5R off the CDROM for the first time.
As an aside, I would like to say that I was impressed. Plus
it sure beats those all night downloads. =)

The problem I encountered is that when I do either a "startx"
or use xdm and switch back to a regular virtual console the
keyboard most of the time is really screwed up. I believe
the problem is when I hold down the CTRL key and click a
mouse button in an Xterm nothing happens (where as the menu
should come up). When I do switch back to the regular console,
it looks like everything is being preceded by a control key.
I can't say for sure because some of the characters it
generates are graphic.

Another problem is that with xdm, I can log in as root just fine,
but logging in as anyone else fails with Xauth errors in their
xsession file.
