I intend to get an EISA machine because I know that EISA drivers will be written sooner or later :-) But what I want to know is this: Is there any reason to not get a local bus machine? I intend to only run unix (well, maybe OS/2 too :-). I really want to run XFree86 -- that is my main application. So, are there any local bus video/SCSI controller drivers out there? Are any being worked on? Or is local bus inherently incompatible with unix? thank you for you time, Dwayne Fontenot
