Hi...
I'm trying to get SLIP to work over a serial cable (very unsucessfully).
I use /dev/cua00 to connect my laptop to a FreeBSD box, and I can log in
without any problems. When I log in as root and do the following:

slattach -s 115200 /dev/cua00

This just logs me out, and a message "ioctl(TIOCSETD): Operation not
permitted" pops up on the server console.

So I try to use the tty00 device instead by going:

slattach -s 115200 /dev/tty00

and I get: slattach[230]: open(/dev/tty00) fd=-1: Device busy
The same message popus up on the server console as well.

I've tried doing this with the sliplogin shell, and havn't even got half
as far (all it sais is starting slip for whateveruser, but nothing
more)...so, if you suggest something to help, please do.
Thanx in advance

Tom
