In the time that I've been using FreeBSD, it has been our primary
network connection and development system.

Why? Because it is more stable than Solaris, AIX, SCO, or the other
commercial operating systems that I have had the dis-pleasure of
working with. Their only advantage is that you can pay someone a lot
of money so as not to have to deal with the problems yourself.

Saying we should not use FreeBSD for mission critical stuff because
OS/2 fell apart is like saying not to buy a Ford becaue Yugo's are crap.
