The word I hear is that Rashid (of Mach fame) is in
a position something like a "Fellow".  In other words,
he has no product development responsibilities, and can
work on whatever he pleases.  I gather his work has no
ties or association with Cutler's NT (formerly VMS) group
except that they all now work for Micro$oft.  Also, I hear
that the "Cairo" OS that MS is working on is a repackage
of the OO version of Unix called "Clouds".
