Anyone else experiencing SCSI Bus hangs with the Adaptec 2742 VL-Bus
controller under heavy loads?

Setup:
Clone MB SIS Chipset w/VL-BUS (Added Wait states for 40MB BUS)
  AMD DX2/80 CPU
  256KB W/B Cache
  48MB RAM
Adaptec 2742 SCSI Controller, Intr #11
    Connor 4GB HD SCSI #0 CFP-4207S
    Connor 4GB HD SCSI #1 CFP-4207S
    Seagate 2GB HD SCSI #2 ST-12400N
    Seagate 9GB HD SCSI #3 ST-410800N
  3C509B Ethernet Controller #10
  3C509B Ethernet Controller #5
  Com1: Intr #4
  Com2: Intr #3

I'm getting random SCSI bus lockups on the Adaptec. Varies from 15 minutes to
2 weeks between hangs. Running 2.0.5 SNAP0622. This system runs INN and is
receiving & sending out several Newsfeeds (lots of disk i/o).

Any pointers?

I've already double checked termination (Active at either ends of the SCSI
chain).

Swap space 256M. Max used ~64MB. Load average varies from <.03 to <3.5

The system is still pingable and but telnet (which is being fetched from HD)
doesn't work because of hung SCSI bus.

Any advise?
