You have not to compile a new kernel to get BSD/OS 2.0 to recognize the
CD-ROM. On installation I ran into the same problem on my 2nd machine
and got it fixed by using the right bootflags. Yust have a look at the
boot man page. Also remember that IDE CD-ROMs are not supported jet.
