It seems my config file is ok (I received a mail from one person
using nearly the same config file with this card with 16450 UARTS).

Why did I ask for the config file?
When changing some UARTS of this card from 16450 to 16550 types
(tried genuine NS, TI and some others) the modems attached to them
didn't worked any more :-(

More precisely: in normal operation my modems show LEDs on for DTR,
DSR, RTS, CTS. After switching to 16550s the DTR and RTS LEDs didn't
light up and the modem refused to answer any call or even to let
it connect via kermit.

What could be the problem?
 - I spoke with the manufacturer who said that it's ok to change UARTs,
   this works for SCO, Unixware...
 - I changed Modems (behaviour is the same)
 - I changed UARTs (s.a.)
 - It's perhaps the sio driver? (BTW, I'm very impressed with it's per-
formance as I'm using two V.34 modems and two V.32b modems and some
hardwired terminal with the ARNET 8 port card and I'm loosing very
few sio interrupts (magnitude of <10/day)).
