Also on an aside, I am looking at using about 16 Dialin V34 Modems using ppp, on a Pentium 100 with 32MB Ram, which would be better for speed/reliability, pppd/iijppp ???? pppd seems to be pretty forgiving, it doesn't need lots of config files to run and I can spawn it using execve from the access program that i've written, I can't quite get iijppp to do this yet, it bombs after the initial message.
