X-Newsreader: Trumpet for Windows [Version 1.0 Rev B final beta #4]

I,m having no hardware problems or installation problems,I learned Windows and
used it to learn MS Dos in reverse I can be methodical and take good notes.
What would be a good book to get a grip on the basics? Should I use my file
manager to print out the complete file tree. I,ve gotten to the point where
FreeBSD ask,s me to login with password and then say,s hello with it,s clever
phrase of the day.....is there a way to get an overview a way to look at it as
a whole beore I decide how much detail to torture myself with per day.I,m new
to computers but want to learn this system to understand what makes them
tick..Pointers Please. Thank You Art.
