For many things and  people, 2.0.5-RELEASE is  stable enough. My site feeds
several UUCP  sites   for Email  and  News without  problem  since  pre-2.0
versions. 

If you  want top stability,  it  is difficult  to   beat 1.1.5.1.  For  me,
there're too many nice things in the 2.* releases to go back to 1.*.
