Just got my FreeBSD 2.0.5R CD-ROM and installed it over the weekend.
It looks good, *BUT* for some strange reason screen-3.6.2 (packaged
version) core dumps and instantiates some unkillable processes.

I *KNOW* that it worked a couple of times after I newly installed
the O/S, but sometime later during the day, it started dumping core.
And from then, it has never worked since - not even after a reboot!
[Strange in itself! What sort of state info is carried over from one
 reboot to another?]

Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a fix?
