Has anyone sucessfully started up a system which gave an initial Trap 19?
The only message I could find recently was from Lynne(?) indicating a
memory fault might be the culprit due to poor initialization of the
extended memory or a conflict with the expanded emm.
I have tried testing and ignoring, shadowing and not all the memory on
a couple of different 386-40 boards, one with an OPTI chipset, the other
with one by CONTAQ. Both boards had AMI bioses(sp) and both gave trap 19
errors all the time. Any suggestions? I can't find any info in the FAQ.
