The Elink 310 works very well with FreeBSD. Our normal system for 
demonstrating internet access is a PC with FreeBSD and an Elink.
There is also a very nice active ISDN-card made by TLK (sales@tlk.com).
It's like an "internal Elink." It has no LEDs indicating the status, but is
much cheaper. We tested it with 2.0R and 2.0.5R. No problems.
