It doesn't.

I suspect the original question was aimed to make some guest login or
somesuch ``more secure''.  The whole scenario isn't worth a thought,
it will remain as insecure as it was unless other measures are taken
(e.g. don't provide a shell at all, rather use some Perl menu etc.)
