I was getting ready to install 2.0.5R via PPP. Much to my dismay when I
booted off of the boot floppy, it failed to detect my Zoom V.FC 28.8
Internal modem on sio1 (standard address and IRQ). When I booted with a -c
option and forced it to attach it, it detected it porperly as a 16550A chip.
When I did the term in PPP, the characters it displayed were always one
charater behind what I was typing (I'd type "A" and see nothing, I'd type "T"
and the "A" would show up and so on). I managed to type in my initialization
string which fixed that, but then wouldn't dial. What might be causing this
problem? Any ideas?

Thanks!
