Is anyone out there using dump? I have a SCSi Conner 4Gig tape
backup that I can not get configured right. One of the problems
I am having, is setting the density.

dump 0ufd 400000 /dev/rst0 /usr
dump 0ufd400000 /dev/rst0 /usr
dump 0uf /dev/rst0 d 400000 /usr
dump 0uf /dev/rst0 d400000 /usr
dump 0uf /dev/rst0 /usr d 400000
dump 0uf /dev/rst0 /usr d400000

I have tried all of these and gotten error messages of either bad density or
some other error because the command parser didn't like the spaces or order
or whatever. Could someone please e-mail me or post here how you run
your baselines to tape when you have to change density.

If anyone has the true value of the density on these tapes, that would
also be very helpful.

Thanks,

James Miller
