A long time ago (on the order of a few months), I was reading that
there was a Linux extension that KINDA handled PCMCIA with ethernet
cards.

But with FreeBSD 2.0.5, is this built in? Does it work with all laptops
with PCMCIA? Is there a PCMCIA ethernet card that is particularly good (or
bad) to use with FreeBSD? And is it stable... or still very beta?

Other than using PCMCIA ethernet, I was thinking of the BCC Avanti
with built in Novell NE2000.... but I'm trying to go the PCMCIA route
because it would be cheaper and more modular. :-)

Thanks,
Clint
