This is sheer idiocy. Look at market penetration for Windows in the USA
as a percentage of computer O/S's. It is higher than in Europe where
Amiga's are far more popular than in the US and where UNIX is far more 
often used as a corporate networking platform.

That does not constitute a potential customer base.

Certainly for members of the CIS et al, it has been easier to join a mailing 
list. All of them know how to use their email systems but many of them 
still aren't sure where to find the USENET newsgroups or steer clear of 
USENET because local forums tend to have a better signal to noise ratio
than USENET.
