I posted my question two days ago but no response yet. Here is my
problem again.  Sorry for that.

I got a problem in using tip. After the dialing tone, (I think it connected
to the remote computer, cause the sound was just like I got via using kermit),
but after that, I lost connection. The process is like the folowing:

[~/tmp] 41 --> dial-annex

dialing...
RING
call failed
[EOT]

I dont know what the problem is. Can some one gives me help?

My .remote file is:

dial-annex|9600 Baud dial-out to another UNIX system:\
        :el=^U^C^R^O^D^S^Q:ie=%$:oe=^D:tc=SLIP-UNIX:
### the baud rate must match the rate you set on your modem...
SLIP-UNIX|9600 Baud Hayes attributes:\
        :dv=/dev/com1:br#9600:cu=/dev/com1:at=hayes:du:pn=5789896

Thanks!
