I have never had occasion to use DigiBoard with BSDI, but I have used it with 
other O/S.  I can advise you that the Digiboard can be greedy to say the least 
with base memory and that if not very careful it will conflict with video card 
base memory causing a conflict.  This is merely a suggestion for what its 
worth, but it may well be worth changing the dip switches on the DigiBoard to 
experiment with alternative addresses to d0000.  If I recall - I had a video 
conflict at this address and found that e0000h solved the problem.
