Whooeee..

I'm not sure how THIS little flame-fest started, but I just want to
make it very clear that FreeBSD considers itself to be an very
International effort. There are currently 17 people on the FreeBSD
Core Team, fully 8 of which are NOT U.S. citizens! I myself divide my
time between Ireland and the U.S. and though I'm an American, born and
raised, I certainly understand the "non-U.S. viewpoint" after having
spent the last 7 years living in various parts of Europe and Ireland.

Finally, I and the translation team went to significant effort to
provide parts of the FreeBSD 2.0.5 installation in over *eleven*
different languages, and the 2.1 installation will be fully
internationalized. To say or even intimate that we cater to
"stereotypical arrogant American idiots" is not only a gross insult,
it's simply WRONG.
