Greetings,

I noticed a few articles posted a while back about a particular
problem with the SB16 cards wherein if one tried to do a cp to /dev/audio it
would only play the sound for a second and then halt. Well, much to my
dismay I am experiencing the same problem with the same card and 2.0.5R as
well. Is there a fix yet? I don't remember seeing anything posted but I
spend far to much time under my rock to be certain of that.

	Many thanks for your time.

Frank Ficnar

PS: It is quite ironic that I upgraded from 2.0R to 2.0.5R in the hopes that
the SB16 recording side of things was fixed. Now, I don't even have
the ability to play sounds. I must have truly been a bad person in a
     past life.
