I'm looking at picking up a secondhand Adaptec 1542C SCSI card for $125
Canadian (about $175US) for use with FreeBSD and (I suppose) DOS/Windoze,
but I'd like to hear from any current users of this board before I buy.

So, if you're currently using an Adaptec 1542C SCSI adaptor, please drop
me a note describing your experience and/or recommendations. I'm
particularly interested in hearing back from anyone using this board with
FreeBSD or one of the other free Unices. (Unixes? Eunuchs? =)

Thanks....

-Roy
