Butffor somet stupid reason I attempted reinstallation instead of bininst to add some extra distributions. And it reinstalled, but without mostof the original distribution (like csh). Then I kept getting errors on root.flp and the errors that were occuring with the boot.flp. The only time I DID install was with like a month old boot.flp. Now I have the release and cant install. No matter what I do, if I keep root.flp in my \freebsd\floppies in my dos partition or remove it and raqwrte it to a floppie, re format the drive totally blah blah blha ive tried all possible combinatiosn with re-ftping it 4 times. Now can someone help me I am VERY tied of being stuck with dos and windows here. Please email respond if possible becausei dont get to the newsgroup much. Thanks.
