Daring to challenge the will of the almighty Leviam00se,
Juergen Schuck (Juergen.Schuck@Materna.DE) had the courage to say:

: Hi there, any ideas where i can find them?
: Thanks in advanc, Juergen

According to the Makefile.inc in /usr/src/lib/libc/xdr, the xdr_float.c
module isn't compiled in by default:

#	@(#)Makefile 5.11 (Berkeley) 9/6/90

.PATH: ${.CURDIR}/xdr ${.CURDIR}/.
SRCS+= xdr.c xdr_array.c xdr_mem.c \
        xdr_rec.c xdr_reference.c xdr_stdio.c

MAN3+= xdr/xdr.3

UNSUPPORTED+= xdr_float.c

I'm not entirely sure why this is so.
