Well, I just read the posting made by Keith Bostic in
comp.bugs.4bsd.ucb-fixes announcing that BSD4.4-alpha (encumbered
I assume) is now ready for wider distribution, but still only
to those with an USL license >:-(

Hopefully, this means that BSD4.4-lite (unencumbered :-) will be
coming out sometime in the next few months. Does anyone know
of any plans to fold in the Net2 -> BSD4.4 diffs into 386BSD?
Is this what the Jolitz's are planning for 386BSD 0.2?

On a very related topic. Does anyone know if UCB is still planning
a BSD4.4-lite release? Or has the USL law suit made UCB decide to
cancel the BSD4.4-lite release?
