you may find a patch against 2.6.3 at
sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/devel/c/gcc-2.6.3-i2.6.3.diff.gz
but it is know'n to have bugs (like the original intel 2.4.5 version and the
adapted 2.5.8 version too) and the over all win is - as far as i know
normally not so big (5-10%) - but you may try it out - hope this helps - t
