Sorry, I forgot some info here. I'm using the last March snapshot here
until I get the 2.0.5 CD-ROM from Walnut Creek. I'd test 2.0.5-ALPHA
but I'm up to my ears in a design project right now. 

Changing the permission on the mail directory to 777 bin bin fixes the
problem but is that safe?
