I am having trouble getting past the installation. I have the slices assigned and then proceed to the
next phase where a screen pops up "newfs /dev/?." After about 15 seconds an error message comes up
saying a timeout has occured "wd0g:" waiting to execute 'fsbn'". Also when I am booting from the
floppy to get back to the installation screen I get a message towards the end of the boot, "wd0:
can't read 32 headers ..... (controller 16 used instead)."

What does this mean? Is my hard drive not compatible with BSD or do I need to move BSD's root to
somewhere else. It is sitting at sector 1080000 and the hard drive is 696MB Western Digital IDE.

I bought this CDROM from Walnut Creek, and it is 2.0.

Thanx
