It's hard for me to believe that my beliefs as someone who just happens
to use FreeBSD has anything to do with why anyone uses Linux. If you base
your choice of OSes on whether or not you've ever met someone you didn't
like who runs the system, you'd better sell your computer.

The FreeBSD has never been particularly difficult. You had to read the
documentation though. I guess if you're not willing to do that it
probably does seem difficult.

I don't think reading the file named README before I run the install
makes me particularly clever. I do know what I think of people who don't
bother, and I will admit the word "clever" doesn't come to mind.

Calling the current docs less than descent is just plain silly. Your
problem with them is apparenly that you had to look at them before you
ran the install. <shrug>
