Recently, it seems that the whatis command is broken in 386bsd.  I do
remember it working (I think) but every time I run it I get a "segmentation 
fault - core dumped, and a core.whatis file appears in my cwd.  If it's
really not broken, perhaps the binary got munged at some point since I 
did the install.  If so, can someone mail me the whatis source, and I'll
compile it (to davidfox@west.darkside.com).
