I have talked to the folks at Comtrol and they made a 'programmers kit'
available that has the programming information for the Rocketport cards
available. They are VERY open about the interface (something like "Our
proprietary information is on the card, not in the interfaces") and have
been very supportive and helpful. If I could get the time and code
together in one place, I would start writing the Rocketport code for the
8J that I installed.

There is a Linux driver, but it is both GPLed and not particularly
compatible with the way that *BSD does business. I haven't looked at it
since the first day, and started a fresh effort to build a non-GPLed
driver.

Anyone want to help?

I have heard reports of Boca and Cyclades cards working with the BSDs,
but I don't have any first hand experience.
