I'm having a hell of a time with 2.0.5-ALPHA. After several problems
just getting the bindist installed (I'll detail these later), I
finally tried to reboot into what was supposed to be a happy system.
It may be; the kernel never even gets off the ground.

Here's how it looks:

Booting sd(0,a)/kernel @ 0x100000
text=0xe3000 data=0xe000 bss=0x14140 symbols=[+0xec0+0x4+0xe028+0x4+0x29cee7fc]

and, of course, the spinning cursor at the end. It hangs there for an
eternity.

How do I tell the kernel on the bootdisk to use sd(0,a) as the root
partition? The FAQ says that specifying option -a at the Boot prompt
should do so, but that's apparently not supported.

I have a PCI Pentium 60 w/64 MB and a NCR SCSI controller. The only
other equipment of note is a 3c509 ethernet card, which worked fine
during the installation (via FTP). My first disk is a Quantum LPS540S
and the other is a Seagate ST15150N.

This setup worked just fine with 950322-SNAP.
